Katie Steed is an award winning director and co-founder of the London animation company Slurpy Studios who produce animated content for commercial, educational and entertainment clients, ranging from BBC Learning to the British Council.

Away from the studio, Katie is a well-travelled advocate of animation, guest teaching and mentoring at the NFTS, UCA Farnham, & Falmouth; and has recently returned from a British Council led initiative to educate and promote the Zimbabwean animation industry.

Katie has a keen interest in furthering and bettering the representation of women and minorities in the media.
