International Trailer for ‘The Boxtrolls’ Released!
With the release date edging ever closer, the Boxtrolls international trailer has arrived, highlighting some of the already-released footage as well as some exclusive new shots. With a narration reminiscent of the film’s roots as a children’s book taking us through the plot outline, we follow the grotty-but-loveable scamps stagger around the spindly Victorian architecture of the town they live below with their adoptive leader Eggs. From what we can see in this sliver of visual delight, Laika’s reputation for wonderfully-crafted characters, engaging storylines and, it has to be said, spectacular cinematography has truly outdone itself.
With a stellar cast, including UK comedy duo Simon Pegg and Nick Frost amongst many others, Boxtrolls promises to be another exceptional film from the makers of ParaNorman and Coralline.
