Exclusive: ‘Here We Go Again…’ – new video from Cordell Barker (‘If I Was God…’)
In a Skwigly exclusive we’re delighted to be able to share with you a new video from Canadian animator Cordell Barker, director of the Oscar-nominated shorts The Cat Came Back and Strange Invaders.
The new video is a look back at Cordell’s “animal-maiming ways” introduced by the animator’s latest ‘victim’, the dissection frog of 2015’s If I Was God… (his latest film that was recently shortlisted for an Academy Award nomination) who reflects on the director’s prior films.
Skwigly were privileged enough to meet with Cordell during the production of If I Was God…, his first stop-motion, stereoscopic endeavour which combines a variety of animation approaches in its semi-autobiographical remembrances of pre-adolescent existentialism.
