After offering a tantalising glimpse as the film entered production last October a full teaser trailer for Aardman director Nick Park’s upcoming feature Early Man has been released.
The film, to be released in cinemas next year, takes the viewer back to the stone age to tell the tale of Dug (voiced by Eddie Redmayne) and his wild boar HogNob. The trailer plays almost as a sequence from the film introducing the viewers to the comedic tone that the film looks to take with Dug and HogNob’s hunt thwarted by musical interlopers and a fiendish rabbit.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain Eddie Redmayne described the film as “Aardman’s Biggest adventure yet.” This is the second feature from Aardman to be released by Studio Canal following 2015’s Shaun the Sheep: The Movie. The film is Nick Park’s third feature after Chicken Run and Wallace and Gromit Curse of the Were-Rabbit which featured some familiar looking rabbits.
Early Man arrives in UK cinemas January 26th, 2018.
