‘Encounters’ Festival Trailer Now Online
A Productions Ltd recently completed work on this year’s trailer for the Encounters Short Film Festival held in Bristol. This is the tenth trailer created by A Productions for the festival since 2001. All have been under the direction of Paul Hill. In 2008 Paul’s concept and design of the man with the screen for a head ‘Cineman’ was adopted by the festival for their main branding and has been used ever since.
Paul says, “It’s always a fun challenge thinking of a new style or theme for the trailer.”
Using Flash and After Effects the animation was completed by Jane Davies, Chris Bowles and Kirsten Thacker. The trailer also saw the return of James T Lundie to musical duties.
The 17th Encounters Short Film Festival runs from 16th – 20th November at the Watershed and Arnolfini in Bristol
