Manchester Animation Festival is the UK’s largest Animation Festival dedicated celebration of the animated art form.

Hosted at HOME in Manchester, the festival brings one of the UK’s biggest animation hubs together and invites the international community to join us to delight in all things animated.

This years festival sees screenings of Loving Vincent, The Breadwinner, Tehran Taboo, My Entire High School Sinking into the Sea, The Big Bad Fox and Other Tales as well as our international short film competition. Guests include Josh Weinstein (The Simpsons, Futurama, Gravity Falls, Strange Hill) Aardman’s Will Becher (Early Man, Shaun the Sheep) giving us a look at how the studio create worlds, Nexus, Blue Zoo, Ivor Wood retrospective and so much more, see the preview programme here
