Frankenweenie Trailer comes to life!
Walt Disney Pictures have released a new trailer for Tim Burtons Frankenweenie. Based on the 1984 short film of the same name by Burton we get a first look at the new feature film after seeing previously released stills.
The film follows young Victor Frankenstein as he brings his recently deceased pet pooch back to life.
This is Tim Burtons second full stop motion feature after 2005’s Corpse Bride. He had previously produced the Henry Selick directed films such as “James and the Giant Peach” and “The Nightmare Before Christmas”. It has been animated in London at 3 Mills
Like 2005 this is set to be a bumper year for stop motion feature fans with Aardman animations releasing “The Pirates!” based on the books by Gideon Defoe, and Laika studios releasing “ParaNorman”
Frankenweenie is set to be released on the 5th October 2012
