John Kricfalusi’s Surprise “Simpsons” Invasion
Animation enthusiasts and “Simpsons” fans alike were given something of a confusing, psychedelic treat last night when the second episode of the deathproof show’s twenty-third season opened with a descent into Kricfalusian madness.
The long overdue collaboration saw the traditional couch gag slot replaced with a retro vignette instantly recognisable as the manic work of John K himself. Accompanying the show’s broadcast was a post on Mr. K’s notorious blog simply titled “Surprise” featuring concept art and character designs for the segment.
