Lightbox: Dan Povenmire & Jeff ‘Swampy’ Marsh on new series “Milo Murphy’s Law”

// Featured, Interviews

In the latest episode of our video interview series Lightbox we meet Dan Povenmire and Jeff ‘Swampy’ Marsh, creators of the new series Milo Murphy’s Law as well as Phineas and Ferb which ran from 2007-2015. The show chronicles the misfortunes of Milo Murphy (voiced by “Weird Al” Yankovic) – descendant of Murphy’s Law namesake Edward A. Murphy Jr. – and his friends Melissa and Zack.

Skwigly contributor Nathan Wilkes met with creators Dan and Jeff to discuss the backstory of the show, how it differs from Phineas and Ferb, the future of streaming content and the foggy origins of the nickname ‘Swampy’ – plus Dan Povenmire demonstrates how to draw the characters Milo and Phineas to Skwigly viewers.
