‘Minions’ Trailer And Images Debut
The first teaser trailer for the Minions latest adventure is finally here, eight months before its UK release date, June 26th 2015.
The plot follows the evolution of the Minion culture, and their continual desire to follow a despicable master. Their diabolical leaders include T.Rex, Napoleon and Dracula. They continuously struggle to keep their masters and after a string of mishaps a deep depression looms over Minion society.
Minion Kevin has a plan and coerces his Minion brothers Stuart and Bob into a comedic adventure. They journey through icy Antarctica into 1960s swinging New York, all on a quest to find a new evil boss for the rest of their Minion brethren to follow.
In an interesting plot twist, the thrilling journey leads them to the world’s first ever female super villain – Scarlet Overkill, voiced by Sandra Bullock. Can they overcome their biggest challenge to date, and save Minionkind?
The new film comes complete with a soundtrack of hit music from the 60s, another evolution from the previous Despicable Me films (will there be at least one song by Pharrell?Because that would make me Happy). It’s interesting to note that the previous Director Chris Renaud is still staying closely linked to the franchise and is the Executive Producer for this latest addition.
