New “Peanuts” Trailer Released Online
A new teaser trailer for the upcoming Peanuts movie from Blue Sky Studios has been released today via Fox Family Entertainment.
The footage gives little to nothing away about the plot of the Steve Martino-directed film itself, instead furthering the style showcase of the first teaser trailer released earlier this year with a seasonally apt holiday theme and giving us a first look at the rest of the Peanuts ensemble cast. It also appears that the film has been renamed from the original title Snoopy & Charlie Brown: A Peanuts Movie to the more succinct The Peanuts Movie.
While it appears on a surface level to retain fidelity to Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the gang’s legacy of animated features, it remains to be seen just how much of original creator Charles Schulz’s tone will be present in this latest feature film outing.
