The film, originally released in 2000, would go on to win major awards at Ottawa International Animation Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival, Zagreb, Avanca, Filmfest Dresden, Black Nights Festival, Sitges, I Castelli Animati and Short Film Festival Hamburg among others.
