Rise of the Guardians Video Interview with Director Peter Ramsey
This November sees the release of Dreamworks Animation’s newest feature ‘Rise of the Guardians’ based on the children’s novel ‘Guardians of Childhood’ by William Joyce.
Skwigly had a chance to sit down with director Peter Ramsey who started his career as a storyboard artist on films such as Independence Day, Minority Report and Men in Black. We asked him about the film, his career and his influences in the film world.
‘Rise of the Guardians’ is a story about the Guardians Santa Clause (Alec Baldwin), the Easter bunny (Hugh Jackman), Sandman and the Tooth Fairy (Isla Fisher) who enlist Jack Frost (Chris Pine) a young immortal, to help them fight against the evil Pitch Black (Jude Law). Pitch’s mission is to make the children of the world forget about the guardians and let fear rule their dreams.
