What is the film about?

A music video for a track by chiptune artist Printed Circuit.

A semi-autobiographical tale of a young man finding brief respite from the drudgery of the daily grind.

What influenced it?

Aki Kaurismaki, Jim Jarmusch and Buster Keaton.

A little background information...

After I followed the artist on twitter, she noticed that I worked with stop motion and asked if I’d be interested in making a music video. This was literally the first idea that popped into my head when I heard the track.

How was the film made?

Stop motion with Lego and plasticine. Faces and signage added in post using After Effects.
