What is the film about?

An abstract animated documentary based off the director’s personal journey through depression in November of 2014. His thoughts and feelings are personifiedin a luring dark fog and a loving mother desperately trying to save her son.

  • I don’t think I have ever seen such a more striking visual metaphor for depression. Maybe because I struggle with it myself, but I find the juxtaposition of hand-drawn character animation with the motion graphics of text summing up the feelings to struggle with depression than any celebrity-written article about the subject.
Nick LeDonne, I tip my hat to you for such a powerful film.
