What is the film about?

“Playtime” is a short animation about a brother and sister playing with their toys in their room. The aim of making this animation was to achieve a cartoony, simple and funny piece. The whole idea was inspired by Bird Box studio works, so there are some certain features in this animation such as single camera angle without any cuts and also a good use of timing. The comedy is based on the contrast of two characters’ personality and their animation style. Moreover, the progressive pace of story supposed to make the audience ready for the climax at the end. Playtime has been made by two people in two months using Softimage, Photoshop and After Effects.
