What is the film about?

A young kitchen hand is faced with a surreal ethical dilemma when he is told to dispose of a dying rat.

What influenced it?

Influenced by the dark comedy of films like Death Becomes Her and Fargo as well as the experimentation/ weirdness of early Nickelodeon Cartoons from the 90’s.

A little background information...

This was a student film made in the final semester of our bachelor degree. It was inspired by a true story which happened to a friend of ours. We both found the story so grim and darkly comical that we knew it would be the perfect premise for a disturbing short film.

How was the film made?

It was designed and animated in photoshop with some additional work done in after effects.
