Skwigly Podcast: Tom Brown & Daniel Gray (Holbrooks)
In the latest episode of the Skwigly Animation Podcast we welcome Tom Brown and Daniel Gray of Holbrooks. The duo began working together as students at University of Wales, Newport where they ultimately produced the multi-award-winning t.o.m., and have since worked on commercial projects together while based in New York and Budapest, Hungary respectively. Their most recent short film teeth, which boasts superb, painterly animation, exquisitely uncomfortable foley work and a narration by Richard E. Grant, recently came off a strong festival run including its premiere at Sundance as well as Annecy, Ottawa, EIFF, Encounters and many more. The film was released online this month through Vice and can be watched below.
