// Featured, News

Yousif Al-Khalifa’s acclaimed graduation short Sleeping With The Fishes, produced at the National Film and Television School in 2013, has this week been released online in full.

Written by Sarah Woolner, who would go on to write MewLab’s The Evening the Mind Jumped Out of Her Head, the film tells the story of lonesome fishmonger Sonja whose life is changed when a delivery man who resembles a rainbow trout appears in it.

As well as an outstanding performance on the festival circuit including wins at the Seoul International Cartoon and Animation Festival, Puchon International Student Animation Festival and the London International Animation Festival, the film picked up the BAFTA for Best Short Animation in 2014.
