This Is Not A Cartoon – Launch
The first ever screening of our new programme of animated shorts that is touring the UK launched on Friday night in Stoke on Trent.
This Is Not A Cartoon, a short film programme featuring director Q&A sessions is supported by the BFI and Film Hub North West Central. The launch event took place in Stoke on Trent with out first director taking the hot seat for questions was Ainslie Henderson who brought his films, Monkey Love Experiments and I Am Tom Moody along to add to the selection.
Stuart Messinger, course leader for BA (Hons) Animation and BA (Hons) Stop Motion Animation and Puppet Making at Staffordshire University chaired the event which took place at the university so a healthy crowd of university students and the general public had plenty of questions for Ainslie about his work, philosophy and background.
