Peter and David spent the day at Falmouth, exploring the facilities and meeting students and staff before joining guests and the University’s Chancellor Dawn French, who conferred their titles, in the Film School’s Cinema for the ceremony. Guests were treated to a show reel of student work as well as an insightful Q&A session with the newly appointed Honorary Fellows.

Christopher Morris, Director of the School of Film & Television, said: “We’re delighted to officially welcome Peter and David to Falmouth. Their enthusiasm and passion for storytelling is infectious and such an inspiration to our students, we look forward to a long and fruitful collaboration with two of the greats of the British film industry.”

Peter (Co-Founder and Creative Director) and David (Co-Founder and Executive Chairman) have taken animation beyond a storytelling medium just ‘for children’ into a glorious, exuberant and entertaining art form, engaging audiences across the world with compelling and generous stories, providing some of film and TV’s most memorable moments, from the legendary Morph to Chicken Run, Creature Comforts and British household favourites Wallace and Gromit.
