Archie & Beans World Adventures Secures Royal Geographical Society Support
Independent children’s geography platform Archie & Beans World Adventures has secured support from the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG), marking a significant milestone for the growing video-led education platform focused on bringing adventure, curiosity and storytelling back into geography learning for younger audiences.
As part of the support, the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) will provide guidance, credibility and access to its wider geographical network as Archie & Beans continues to expand its educational content, partnerships and public engagement activity.
Designed for children aged 7–11, Archie & Beans combines story-led geography videos, podcasts and downloadable learning resources to help children explore countries, cultures, wildlife and the wider world in a way that feels engaging, visual and accessible. Built as a animation and video-led platform with YouTube at its core, Archie & Beans has developed a growing audience of teachers, homeschoolers and families looking for geography content that goes beyond traditional classroom approaches.
Created by animation studio owner and producer Tom Sanders, the platform was developed in response to a gap in high-quality, age-appropriate geography content for primary-aged learners. Rather than focusing solely on facts and worksheets, Archie & Beans aims to make geography feel adventurous and memorable through character-led storytelling and learning resources.
This is a hugely meaningful milestone for us and a real vote of confidence in what Archie & Beans is trying to achieve. Geography is one of the most important subjects for helping children understand the wider world, but it should also feel exciting, adventurous and inspiring. We created Archie & Beans to help bring some of that wonder back into geography learning for younger audiences.
Tom Sanders, founder of Archie & Beans
Boosting initiatives that help children explore cultures, places and environments around the world through high-quality, interactive and accessible educational media is a key part of our mission to inspire the next generation of geographers. The Society is therefore delighted to support Archie & Beans.

*Coincidentally, Clive and Tom Sanders are, funnily enough, not related.
The support comes during a period of continued growth for the platform, including new educational distribution partnerships with ClickView and Boclips, helping expand access to Archie & Beans content across schools and learning environments internationally.
Alongside its continued growth, Archie & Beans is actively seeking funded partnerships with organisations, charities and tourism boards to support the creation of new geography and environmental learning series for children, helping expand access to engaging, animation and video-led educational content for younger audiences worldwide.
