The 2020 British Academy Film and Television Award winners have been announced in London.

Winning the award for Animated Film (Feature), Sergio Pablos’s Klaus beat off competition from Disney, Pixar and Aardman sequels Frozen 2, Toy Story 4, and Shaun the Sheep Farmageddon (Listen to our interview with Sergio Pablos about the making of Klaus from Annecy 2019).

Skwigly readers were correct in predicting Klaus as the winner, with 61% in our poll below.

The BAFTA for VFX went to 1917 Black Panther (Greg Butler, Guillaume Rocheron and Dominic Tuoh). The film picked up seven awards at last night’s awards, and has been nominated for ten Oscar awards later this month.
