“Christmas Log” wins Cartoon D’Or 2014
The winner for this year’s Cartoon d’Or, the award for the best European animated short film, was announced yesterday. Of the five nominees, the Belgian/French production The Christmas Log (La bûche de Noël) by Stéphane Aubier & Vincent Patar (an addition to the hyperactive universe of A Town Called Panic) went home with the award.

The winner will be announced during 25th Cartoon Forum on Thursday 25th September 2014 in Toulouse.
The Jury
The 2014 jury was composed of producer Eric Goossens (Walking the Dog, Belgium), director/producer Tony Loeser (MotionWorks, Germany) and director Benjamin Renner (France).
