From April 17 to May 24, the Cinémathèque québécoise will be hosting its sixth Animation Residency for six young artists from Canada and abroad. Each artist will be associated with a mentor, chosen amongst the city’s animation film professionals. They will be responsible for coaching them and providing them with inspiration. The residents will have over a month to develop their project thanks to the expertise available at the Cinémathèque, the vast animation collections of the institution as well as Montreal’s cultural buzz.
