Fine Lines Festival | Celebration of Illustration and Animation, Gloucestershire
On Saturday April 27th, from 10am-6pm everyone is invited to the first Fine Lines Festival – a celebration of Illustration and Animation.
Hosted by the University of Gloucestershire’s BAHons Illustration and Animation courses at Park Campus in Cheltenham, the event is full of creative inspiration.
Guest speakers such as Steve Smith, founder of Beakus Animation Studio, Domareen Fox, art director on Netflix’s hit animated series Dead End Paranormal Park, Neeraja Raj, a writer-director working in animation and film, Denzell Dankwah, upcoming graphic novelist and illustrator and Seraphina Bewick, an animator and producer currently working in aquisitions and development for Warner Brothers Discovery and Cartoon Network, will all be sharing their processes and talking about their work and careers so far.
Throughout the day there will be interactive workshops, animation screenings and the chance to mingle and chat with artists, makers, publishers and animators.
There is also a comics and art market with over 60 independent creators showcasing and selling their work which ranges from zines and prints to children’s books and board games
