Skwigly Online Animation Magazine is proud to present a selection of films from its animation community in association with this year’s edition of Manchester Animation Festival. Skwigly has fast become one of the UK’s leading resources for all things animation, with a community made up of filmmakers the world over. The screening will take place in the Event Space of MAF’s main venue HOME and will feature a selection of innovative and exceptional animated shorts hand-picked by Skwigly Editor in Chief Ben Mitchell.

THE BEATLES VS. THE STONES
(A Dog & Rabbit production directed by Andrew Kelleher | 3:12 | 2022 | UK)

The battle of the bands, at last. 2D animated slapstick and anarchy as The Beatles and The Rolling Stones attempt to outdo each other with trickery, silliness and cake fights.


THE WOLF OF CUSTER

A town loves telling tales about a legendary wolf. One hunter, however, proclaims it’s just an ordinary wolf. He sets out to pursue it but while on the hunt, he begins to witness and understand the power of stories.
