Trailer and key art released for Netflix feature ‘KPop Demon Hunters’

Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for Sony Pictures Animation‘s KPop Demon Hunters, an upcoming animated fantasy action comedy directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans described as “a fiercely fun and action-packed kpop odyssey featuring brand-new, original songs”.
Accompanying the release of the trailer is the unveiling of the film’s key poster art (below).
When they aren’t selling out stadiums, Kpop superstars Rumi, Mira and Zoey use their secret identities as badass demon hunters to protect their fans from an ever-present supernatural threat. Together, they must face their biggest enemy yet – an irresistible rival boy band of demons in disguise.

With a screenplay by Danya Jimenez, Hannah McMechan, Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans based on a story by Kang, the film is produced by Michelle L.M. Wong, p.g.a. and co-produced by Scott Berri and Jacky Priddle.
KPop Demon Hunters will be released on Netflix June 20
