Following its 2025 ‘Work in Progress’ session, Lucy Lost is screening this week as part of Annecy’s Official Competition.
Additionally, Lucy Lost was part of the official selection at the recent Cannes Film Festival 2026 – and also at the Shanghai International Film Festival, where it scooped a Golden Goblet Award for ‘Best Animated Feature’.
The film is co-written and directed by Olivier Clert (Klaus, Little Prince), and is co-written with Helen Blakeman (Dustbin Baby, Hetty Feather) and produced by Xilam’s Marc du Pontavice.
The feature was produced at Xilam’s animation studio, and Goodfellas handles international sales, with French broadcasters Canal+ and Ciné+ OCS previously acquired pay-TV rights. Le Pacte will release Lucy Lost in French theatres from October 28th.
On the edge of a remote fishing village, Lucy, a mysterious girl with visions no one else can see, meets her secret friend Milly. Together, they set out on a magical quest to uncover the secret behind her mysterious powers.
Goodfellas is also now handling international sales for Xilam’s upcoming adult-targeted animated psychological thriller, The Wolf – for which Crunchyroll has pre-bought worldwide SVOD rights (excl. China and Japan).

The Wolf (Xilam Films)
The Wolf will screen as part of Annecy’s ‘Work in Progress’ sessions on Tuesday 23rd June. The film is an adaptation of the graphic novel from best-selling author Jean-Marc Rochette (Snowpiercer).
