In a fantastical world filled with magic, a Mesoamerican-inspired warrior princess embarks on an epic quest to fulfil an ancient prophecy and save humanity from the vengeful gods of the underworld.
Netflix has today released the trailer for Maya and the Three, the upcoming epic from The Book of Life Director Jorge Gutierrez.
Drawing from Mesoamerican culture Gutierrez and his Wife Sandra Equihua have designed the upcoming series as a love letter to strong female characters, ancient culture and epic movies.
Maya and the Three will be released on Netflix later in the year.
