5’s preschool strand, Milkshake! has announced three brand-new UK original commissions, continuing its commitment to delivering warm, entertaining and enriching content for preschool audiences across the UK.

Flora, Buxton & Bear (Milkshake!)

Flora, Buxton & Bear is a 40 x 7’ CG animated series from Liverpool-based Fourth Wall (Milo), based on the book series by award-winning author and illustrator Rowena Blyth. Set in Buddies Preschool, the series follows three young friends as everyday moments spark big questions, sending them into lively role-play adventures – from wondering what might happen if you swallowed an apple pip to creating wildly inventive worlds where anything feels possible. Guided by their caring teacher Miss Lauren and supported by their classmates and a playful cast of creatures, the series celebrates the power of imaginative play to support creativity, emotional understanding and problem-solving, empowering children to discover that their ideas truly matter.

The Earth Cubs Show (Milkshake!)

The Earth Cubs Show is a 26 x 7’ mixed-media adventure series combining real-world footage and 2D animation, produced by Earth Cubs Ltd and 3Megos. Based on the globally successful Earth Cubs brand, and marking Milkshake!’s first adaptation of a YouTube series into long-form, the show invites preschoolers to join the Earth Cubs gang on a mission to “Learn the World”.

Funny and packed with energy, each episode is filled with catchy songs, amazing animals, fascinating facts, quizzes, jokes and inspiring stories from across the planet. Guided by the Earth Cubs characters, young viewers embark on exciting adventures exploring wildlife, habitats, people, places and cultures around the globe. The Earth Cubs Show blends music, humour and real-world experiences to help children build a connection with the world around them, inspiring curiosity, kindness and environmental awareness.

Completing the line-up is Milkshake! Monkey’s Morning at the Museum, a brand new live-action 20x 11’ series produced by Daisybeck Studios (Show Me How, Animal Care Club). Guided by the much-loved Milkshake! Monkey, the series gives young explorers special access to museums across the UK – from getting hands-on with real meteorites at the National Space Centre in Leicester, to caring for working horses at the Black Country Living Museum and getting a behind-the-scenes look at life aboard the 1940s ship HMS Cavalier at The Historic Dockyard Chatham in Kent. The children go behind the scenes to uncover hidden spaces, help prepare exhibits and discover fascinating stories, offering a playful introduction to the UK’s rich cultural and educational landscape.

Louise Bucknole, SVP Kids & Family, Paramount UK & Ireland, said:

At Milkshake!, we’re always looking for ways to bring fresh, distinctive shows to our audience that reflect their lives – made right here in the UK. These new commissions bring together the things we know preschoolers respond to – from the imaginative, fly-on-the-wall fun of Flora, Buxton & Bear, learning about history in Milkshake! Monkey’s Morning at the Museum, to accessible ways of learning and exploring the world around them through sketches, comedy and songs with The Earth Cubs Show. Together, they combine creativity and real experiences in a way that feels engaging and relevant to how young people learn about their world.

Milkshake! Monkey’s Morning at the Museum will launch on 5’s Milkshake! in late 2026, with the other two series following in 2027.
