Omens secures greenlight for new ‘Paula & Pals’ season from Mediacorp

Award-winning animation company Omens Studios has been greenlit by Singapore’s national broadcaster Mediacorp to produce a second season of its international preschool hit Paula & Pals. The new series, Paula & Pals Season 2: Boot Up! (30 x 7’), is currently in production and set for delivery in late 2026.

Developed with award-winning creator and director Sacha Goedegebure, Season 2’s brand new concept takes Paula and friends into a world where gadgets, robots, and smart tech are transforming life in Numberville. From apple picking robots to cake making 3d printers, inventions by the eccentric Farmer Haywire and the mischievous Gnomes spark excitement, but when bad code causes chaos, it’s up to Paula and her pals to save the day!
Building on the show’s reputation for blending fun with learning, the new season introduces children to logic and early coding concepts through playful adventures. Each story encourages preschoolers to think critically, debug simple programs, and problem-solve with creativity – while retaining the comedy, warmth, and heart that define the series.
This greenlight follows closely on the heels of Mediacorp’s commission of Season 4 of Leo the Wildlife Ranger, and a raft of international sales for seasons 1, 2 and 3 of Leo the Wildlife
Ranger and season 1 of Paula & Pals including: beIN Media Group in the Middle East and North
Africa; AMC Networks for its preschool channel Jim Jam, and Brazilian broadcaster Globo.

Paula & Pals Season 1 is a 68 x 7’ CG animated spin-off series from the studio’s hit series 123
Number Squad!. Commissioned by Mediacorp, Season 1 is aimed at 3-6 year olds and focuses on social-emotional development and mental well-being.
