Pink Parrot Media inks first deals for ‘Tistou’, appoints Aurélien Piris as Senior Sales Manager
Montreal/Madrid-based international sales and distribution company Pink Parrot Media (PPM) has secured a wave of deals for its forthcoming CG animated feature Tistou, an adaptation of Maurice Druon’s classic French children’s novel Tistou les Pouces Verts produced by France’s Finalement in a co-production with Belgium’s Walking The Dog. Additionally, PPM has tapped All Rights Entertainment’s Aurélien Piris as Senior Sales Manager ahead of this year’s 79th edition of the Cannes Film Festival.

Tistou has sold to Front Row (Middle East), Filmarti (Turkey), Pro Films (Bulgaria), and MCF (Former Yugoslavia territories). PPM has also secured a new deal for its recently announced comedy-adventure Winner, produced by Paratha Entertainment in collaboration with the Rafa Nadal Foundation, for Front Row (Middle East), with additional territories to be announced shortly.
In his new role, Aurélien will focus on the international sales of animated features, whilst also contributing to the acquisition of new animation projects, helping to further strengthen and diversify PPM’s catalogue. He will handle territories including Benelux, Germany (GAS), Italy, Turkey, CIS Ukraine, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam, and will report into PPM’s Partner / Vice-President and Head of International Sales & Acquisitions, Tania Pinto Da Cunha.
Before joining PPM, Aurélien spent 12 years at All Rights Entertainment working in international distribution, sales and financing of audiovisual content, with a particular expertise in animation and international theatrical releases. He has developed a strong network of partners, distributors and broadcasters across Europe, Asia and emerging markets, supporting the commercialisation and positioning of projects across numerous international territories. Throughout his career, he has contributed to the global rollout and international exposure of several major animated films, including Ne Zha 2, working closely with producers, distributors and local partners on international sales, financing and distribution strategies.

PPM’s slate for Cannes Film Festival also includes exclusive material from 3D CG animated films produced by Canada’s CarpeDiem Film & TV: whimsical adventure-comedy Unstable co-produced with UK-based Cantilever Productions (The Amazing Maurice); and magical comedy-adventure The Bottanix, both currently in production and set to be delivered by 2027. Additionally, PPM will present Emma & Thomas (Lotte & Totte), a Danish 3D CG animated feature based on the bestselling Scandinavian book series by Gunilla Wolde; and MoMonsters: The Movie, the first film featuring the beloved characters and gentle lessons from the Spanish Momonsters series.
