Plastic and Flashing Lights by Patator Prod

// News

Plastic and Flashing lights is a short animation by Victor Haegelin of Patator Prod studios, created for Professor Kliq an electronic musician based in Chicago who has worked for game developers and film makers.

This sleek stop-motion is made from bent wire and card, it’s a low tech idea with a highly creative outcome, which is what we can expect from stop-motion. The character bends in performance to the music, the use of wire for both character and scenery creates an energetic union between the material and the music. Morphing the figure into sound waves and shapes uses the visuals to represent the liveliness of the music to the fullest. The animation is bold and has a great beat that is not to be missed.
