Skwigly Film Club #06 – The Triplets of Belleville
Presenting episode 6 of the Skwigly Animation Film Club!
In our sixth episode we press play on Sylvain Chomet’s 2003 feature film debut The Triplets of Belleville, alternately known as Belleville Rendez-vous. The film would go on to receive two Academy Award nominations for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song, losing out to Finding Nemo and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King respectively. Sylvain Chomet would eventually follow up with a second animated feature The Illusionist in 2010.
