After season 1, launched in July 2020, with 45.9 millions views, 585k followers and a Silver Trophy from YouTube, Dupuis Edition et Audiovisuel is continuing the adventure with Cyprien for season 2 of the adaptation of the animated series of his comic book Roger and his Humans published by Éditions Dupuis.

This animated web series of 36 x 2’ directed by Alexandre Coste, tells the story of generation Y for teens and young adults, with the same caustic humour of the youtuber with more than 13 million subscribers, packed full of geek references and snappy punchlines.

Screened exclusively since 1 September on ADN, the reference site for streamed animation, it will now be on YouTube from today, 3rd November.

After the success of the first season which exceeded our hopes for a first digital native series for adults, we are happy to renew our collaboration with Cyprien for season 2 which is going to be even more fun than the first.

Roger and his Humans: when artificial intelligence observes the everyday life of thirty somethings.
Do you know Roger? Roger’s a robot who’s taken up residence in the home of a young couple, Hugo and Florence. What does he love most? Trying to understand the way the human world works. He has no compunction in deconstructing (in all senses of the term) their habits and social norms, asking acerbic questions about everything. He has no filters and knows no bounds.

In season 1, Roger shared Hugo and Florence’s lives and he even met Pascalou, Florence’s mother, Hugo’s grandfather, Florence’s best friend and loads of other characters. He discovered social media, internet and also experienced going to the cinema, the restaurant and even going on a plane.

In short, Roger is getting more and more used to our world. In this new season of 36 episodes, Roger will continue learning all sorts of new things: what is death? What do you do in an escape game or a night club? He might even go on a date …

So, if you want to see the rest of the improbable adventures of Roger and his Humans, don’t worry: Roger is back with a new season of 36 episodes for the web, still as funny and off-beat as ever, and written by his creator, Cyprien.
