What is the film about?

For Alok fans it is a moment of nostalgia, and this gift is for them. For us who recording for last 4 years the DJ Alok around the world was a moment of breathing and organizing files. At that moment we discovered a pattern of camera positioning in all the shows and then this stop-motion project was born.

What influenced it?

A little background information...

While for fans of the DJ this is a moment of nostalgia, for a pair of brothers, it was a time to rest from the routine and be able to organize their image files. Then, during this process, they noticed a pattern of positioning both of the photography of the scenes captured by them and of the artist himself on stage, and thus the project “Memories” was born to deal with the nostalgia of the fans and present them with new material.

How was the film made?

A research in all the Alok’ scenes captured by us during the last 4 years (900 hours), to print them and perform a stop-motion work. After more than 100 days of researching work, we printed more than 650 selected images and finished the project.
