A little background information...

I was approached by Marc Teitler, the music composer and producer of the song to do a video clip for his then upcoming new single called Stranger in Paradise. So before I began interpreting and thinking specific ideas for the clip, I wanted to ask Marc what the story behind the song was, to which he told me was inspired by a story he had read in the newspaper about the lifeless body of a man that was found longue after he had passed because no one noticed until several weeks had past. So the song and its lyrics are a fictional recount of what could have been this man’s final thoughts, fears and regrets before he passed away. I I felt instantly moved by this story and couldn’t help to ask myself the same questions over and over: What kind of life should be led for someone to die so alone? and What if I don’t get to leave anything behind that actually matters? I think, with the way the world is today, these are questions we can’t ask ourselves without thinking about everything and everyone else in it, the challenges that humanity faces today: ecocide, war, global crisis, and what is the part that we’re playing (directly or indirectly) in all of it, what are we doing to make it better or are we actually helping to make it worse, and What is the world that we will leave behind when we are gone? With all of these thoughts I proposed Marc to bring an Apocalyptic prophecy to life to exorcise these fears, anxieties and hopefully help create some awareness around these questions, from our little corners in the world and with what we know how to do as artists
