What is the film about?

Deep into the small hours of the night, drenched in black coffee and paperwork, a lonely man’s sanity starts to slip away.

What influenced it?

Too Late was influenced by 80’s thriller/horror film and stage shows aesthetics, and drew inspiration from directors such as Burton, Kubrick, Cronenberg and Fincher.

“Too Late” is an animated psychological thriller, a stylized look at the destructive nature of overwork.

With a small team of feature animation artists and on a shoestring budget, we lovingly crafted this animated short with striking, yet dark tones. One we hope shines some light on the overtime loop we often find ourselves trapped in.

How was the film made?

“Too Late” was made possible through an online collaboration between animation artists from all walks of the creative industry – our team has worked on major film and gaming franchises in studios like Sony Animation, Blue Sky Studios, Bron Animation, Firaxis Games, Dreamworks Animation, Framestore, ILM and more.
