The largest animation and digital arts community for teenagers in Romania and Moldova now opens to Bulgaria
The Animation Incubator Community is the largest animation and digital arts community for teenagers (high school age) in Romania, Bulgaria and Moldova. Its mission is to create safe, diverse and inclusive spaces for non-formal education in animation and digital arts, achieved through free educational workshops, research on inclusivity and creative practice, and the distribution and promotion of youth-produced animations.
Mission
Over the past six years, The Animation Incubator has built a community of more than 300 young artists from across Romania and Moldova. In 2026, the initiative expands to Bulgaria through partnerships with Compote Collective and Kino Klas.
Members of the initiative’s team include Vessela Dantcheva, director, producer and animator, and director Nadejda Koseva.
