VIEW Conference is delighted to announce that Kyle Odermatt, visual effects supervisor of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ upcoming animated musical comedy “Wish,” will appear in person at VIEW Conference 2023. In an exclusive Italian premiere event, Odermatt will deliver a visually stunning presentation that lifts the lid on the extraordinary creative processes behind the studio’s 62nd animated feature film.

Three-time VES Award nominee Kyle Odermatt will appear live on stage at VIEW Conference 2023, with a dazzling presentation about Disney’s upcoming animated feature “Wish.” Directed by Oscar-winner Chris Buck (“Frozen,” “Frozen 2”) and Fawn Veerasunthorn (“Raya and the Last Dragon”), “Wish” opens in theaters 22 November, 2023 and helps mark the culmination of Disney100, a year-long celebration honoring the legacy of animation legend Walt Disney.
“Wish” is an all-new musical-comedy that welcomes audiences to the magical kingdom of Rosas, where Asha (Ariana DeBose), a sharp-witted idealist, makes a wish so powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force – a little ball of boundless energy called Star. Together, Asha and Star confront a most formidable foe – the ruler of Rosas, King Magnifico (Chris Pine) – to save her community and prove that, when the will of one courageous human connects with the magic of the stars, wondrous things can happen. The film also features the voice of Alan Tudyk as Asha’s favorite goat, Valentino.
