The 2nd Warsaw Animation Film Festival will be an online festival taking place between 27th August and 2nd September 2020 and will be available for audiences in Poland. The festival will be screening films from three competition categories (Animation Short Film, Young & Student, and Animated Horror) as well as hosting special screening and online meetings. A highlight of the festival will be it’s online masterclasses run by professionals from the international animation industry.

The festival organizers are opening a new competition this year – ANIMATED HORRORS – and will be accepting short films (up to 30 min) produced in the past 5 years. The category will be open to horror films as well as other neighboring genres – gore, noir, slashers as well as more humoristic interpretations of the genre. During the festival, the three person Jury will choose the best Animated Horror.

Submissions are open until 10th June 2020. With no submission fee, you can submit at: warsawanimationfest.com
