Mr Binns, one of the artists on the rota at Beakus has created animated pre-titles for the new series of Sky’s comedy hit An Idiot Abroad.

For this third series the downtrodden Karl Pilkington is joined on his continent-crossing journey by eternal optimist Warwick Davis, whilst being instructed by Ricky Gervais where to go and what to do. It’s a hilarious recipe for disaster… They follow in the footsteps of Marco Polo, and our pre-titles set the scene, with animation of the Italian explorer travelling from Venice to China across an aged map.

The animation by Mr Binns struck the right chord, and we were asked to adapt it to provide graphics for the forthcoming DVD release (out on Boxing Day).
