Lightbox: “The Boxtrolls” – Interview with Travis Knight & Isaac Hempstead-Wright
In the latest episode of our video series Lightbox , Skwigly’s Tom Sanders meets Travis Knight, CEO of LAIKA, whose latest film The Boxtrolls follows the hugely successful Coraline and ParaNorman.
The film tells of a mysterious, underground race of trolls who live beneath the town of Cheesebridge through their resourcefulness, under threat from the ruthless exterminator Archibald Snatcher, who plans to eradicate them in a bid for social standing within the town.
Also featured in this episode is performer Isaac Hempstead-Wright (Game of Thrones), who discusses voicing the film’s lead character Eggs, a boy raised by boxtrolls and endeavouring to discover his true identity.
