Ani is an annual celebration of creativity and innovation in the world of animation. Held every summer in the picturesque city of Peja, Kosovo, Anibar is dedicated to showcasing exceptional animated short films from around the globe, providing a platform for talented animators to share their unique stories and artistic visions.
Anibar takes pride in having organized 14 editions of Anibar International Animation Festival comprising a weeklong program composed of film screenings, workshops, presentations, masterclasses, panels, exhibitions, production contests, music concerts and awareness-raising campaigns based on each edition’s theme.
Anibar is coming back with its 15th edition of the festival from the 15th until the 21st of July 2024 in the city of Peja, Kosovo gathering everyone at one of the biggest cultural events in the country, as well as one of the biggest gatherings of the animation industry in the region.

Anibar is on the lookout for captivating, thought-provoking, and visually stunning animated short films that push the boundaries of storytelling and animation techniques. If you are a director or distributor with a passion for animation, Anibar wants to see your work!

Keep in mind that we only select short animated films up to 30 minutes that are completed after January 1st, 2023. Films completed prior to the stated date cannot participate. For more you must read the full list of our Rules and Terms before submitting! You have time until March 31, 2024!
Selected films will be featured during the Anibar Animation Festival, providing exposure to a diverse and enthusiastic audience of animation lovers, industry professionals, and fellow creatives.
