Clermont–Ferrand International Short Film Festival Comes to London with Host of Animated Short Film Screenings

The Clermont–Ferrand International Short Film Festival is one of the largest short film festivals in the world. Nestled within the mountainous region of Auvergne in France, it has a huge and eclectic programme of animation, experimental, audience screenings and more, and hosts 200,000 visitors every year. For the first time, the festival joins us on this side of the pond with 4 curated programmes at The Garden Cinema in London. The screenings celebrate the UK, French and international selections, in addition to a special screening of animated short films for the family.
Special UK Lab Competition
Enjoy UK highlights from the festival’s Lab Competition from 2022/2023. Animated films in the programme include The Debutante (Elizabeth Hobbs), Scale (Joseph Pierce) and Tindersticks – See My Girls (Stuart A. Staples, Sidonie Osborne Staples). The event will include Q&As and will be followed by networking in the bar after the screening.

Best of French Competition
The festival presents highlights and prize winners from this year’s National Selection. The programme includes the animation Human Resources (Titouan Tillier, Isaac Wenzek, Trinidad Plass Caussade) which won the Student Prize.
