First introduced at Cartoon Forum 2020, Goat Girl follows the story of Gigi, a fairly well-adjusted 13–year-old girl who just happens to have been raised by mountain goats. But now that she’s a teenager, she will attend a boarding school and, for the first time in her life, spend time around actual people. Goat Girl is a 52×11 minute comedy series about being comfortable in your own skin and embracing your quirks.

Developed in house at Daily Madness, Goat Girl is the first original series created by Shannon George and Kristina Yee, who take on the Showrunner and Head Writer roles. They are joined by Series Director, Krystal Georgiou and Art Director, Adam Kavanagh. The series is produced by Lindsey Adams and Hanna Mouchez, with MIAM! animation also signed up as worldwide distributors for the property.

Goat Girl will be launching on Cartoon Network and HBO Max EMEA.

Gigi is the hero we all wished we could grow up with! A strong girl lead, who is not afraid to be exactly who she is. It has been a dream come true for us to “find our herd” with our partners MIAM! animation, WarnerMedia EMEA and ABC and we cannot wait to bring this unique comedy series to life.

-Lindsey Adams (founder, Daily Madness)

How refreshing to meet Gigi and her goaty attitude, she’s everything we stand up for at MIAM!: an inspiring female character and a role model for kids that feel different and yet choose to embrace their quirks ! We are very excited to be onboard this project with Daily Madness and our commissioners WarnerMedia EMEA and acquisition partners ABC.

-Hanna Mouchez (founder, MIAM! animation)

Goat Girl’s quirky humor and strong and inspirational female lead make it a perfect fit for the WarnerMedia family. This is a show that celebrates uniqueness and encourages kids to accept others for who they are – it’s an important message and one that we always hope to convey to our young audience. We are proud to be on board as commissioners.”
