Eyes down for ‘Bingomation’ Heading to London and Newcastle this summer

Bingomation is an online community project aimed at showcasing work by brilliant animators and motion designers set up by Hayley Akins. 90 animators each chose a bingo number and were tasked with creating a 5 second, looping GIF visualization of the bingo call associated with their number.
Bingomation is now complete having received submissions from animators around the globe – the project is due to be screened in London and Newcastle. View all the amazing Bingomation submissions.
Animators know the value of making personal work to add to their portfolio. However, it can be difficult to be motivated if you aren’t held accountable for your work in some way. Bingomation gave those involved a framework to create a piece of work for themselves to a deadline and with some brand guidelines. It also helped build networks and relationships between animators around the world.
