MOVE Summit, Scotland’s Animation and VFX Gathering, is back in 2024 with a new event: The Big MOVE Pitch!

Do you have a brilliant idea for the next hit animated TV show? If so, MOVE Summit wants to hear from you! We’re looking for concepts across all age ranges and genres, from pre-school learning all the way to adult comedy – and everything in between.

Shortlisted entrants will have the chance to pitch live in front of a panel of industry experts and will receive tailored written feedback from the judges. The winning pitch will secure a one-on-one session with an industry expert, helping you plot the next steps in your project’s development journey.

The judging panel includes commissioning representatives from the BBC, BBC Studios, and Warner Bros., independent executives, and more!

Projects can be at any stage of development, from a one-page document to a full pitch deck, as long as you can pitch it in full on stage at the event in February.

To apply please send your project to info@movesummit.co.uk by 5pm on Monday the 12th of February with the subject line ‘The Big MOVE Pitch’.

Pitches must be no longer than five minutes, and should be as visual as possible. Remember to include key details such as the number of episodes and their length, the target audience, and your proposed animation format (if known).
