Temi’s World brings big-hearted learning to YouTube Kids

Temi’s World, a brand-new animated preschool channel, has launched worldwide on YouTube Kids! Independently created by Nathan Wilkes and early years specialist Toni Matthews, the show is designed to help every child feel seen, celebrated, and inspired to learn through joyful play.
The series stars Temi, a loud, curious, and imaginative Jamaican-British 5-year-old whose playful energy drives the show. Through animated adventures, silly challenges, and lively learning moments, Temi’s World helps young children build confidence, communication skills, and a love of discovery – all in a format that’s as fun and chaotic as it is educational.
We’re creating the kind of show we wished existed when we were younger, something where every child can see themselves, feel part of the fun, and learn without realising it.
We love that kids love watching kids, but so much of what you see online involves children being nudged to perform for views. We wanted to create something just as exciting – but safer and more intentional.

With episodes developed by Nathan Wilkes, a kids’ content producer with years of experience collaborating alongside some of the top educational consultants in the preschool world, and Toni Matthews, a passionate early years practitioner with a Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education, Temi’s World blends high-energy entertainment with real educational value – from counting and language to emotional learning and social development. Every episode is crafted to feel like fun, not homework.
Unlike most YouTube content featuring real kids on camera, Temi’s World features a professionally voiced animated character – allowing children to enjoy energetic, relatable content without the pressure of performance.
As an early years educator, I see how powerful representation is. Temi’s World was built to reflect the children I’ve seen and worked with – especially those underrepresented in traditional media. This is about making learning feel joyful and inclusive.
